On May 27, 2009, the education and business communities joined together to honor the top two graduating seniors from each of the school districts in the Orange-Ulster Supervisory District. The fourteenth annual reception and dinner was held at the Inn at Central Valley. T.D. Bank North, Crystal Run Healthcare, Annese & Associates, M & T Bank, Elant, Bank of America and Nugent Haeussler, PC, have sponsored this event to recognize the accomplishments and promising futures of these outstanding seniors from public and private high schools.
This is the fourteenth Outstanding Student Recognition Dinner held in Orange County. The Education Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, Inc., established the dinner in 1996. Orange-Ulster BOCES coordinates the event which would not be possible without the generosity of the above-mentioned corporate sponsors.
