Division of Adult Education Honors First-Ever Graduates from
Surgical Technician and Central Supplies Technician Programs
The OU BOCES Division of Adult Education proudly honored its first-ever graduates from the Surgical Technician and Central Supplies Technician Programs on Friday, June 28, 2013. Over the past several years, the Division of Adult Education has expanded its health careers offerings to meet the needs of the local community as well as the professional goals of adults looking to work in the varied facets of the health care field.
The Surgical Technician and Central Supplies Technician programs were developed with the assistance of a Health Advisory Committee made up of professionals from Crystal Run Health Care, Orange Regional Medical Center, Elant and other local health care providers.
The Surgical Technician and Central Supplies Technician programs provided these successful graduates with the means to obtain meaningful employment as well as continue on a career pathway that could include a college degree.
