Cooperative Board
The OUB Cooperative Board is made up of seven members who have served or are serving on local boards of education. The Board appoints the OUB district superintendent, subject to the NYS Education Commissioner's approval, to serve as its chief executive officer.
Boards of Cooperative Educational Services are established by the Education Commissioner at the request of component school boards and are governed by a board of 5-15 members, elected to three-year terms by those school boards.

Student Board Members
Student board members are non-voting members who represent the student body on the Cooperative Board. They attend meetings and provide student perspectives on policies and decisions.

MEETINGS
The Board meets monthly on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Onken Conference Center, Amy Bull Crist Campus, 53 Gibson Road, Goshen, New York.

Please take notice that a Regular Business Meeting of the Orange-Ulster Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Orange-Ulster BOCES Onken Conference Center, 53 Gibson Road, Goshen, New York, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Please be further advised that it will be preceded by a meeting of the Audit Committee at 5 p.m. in the same location.
Public session will resume at approximately 5:30 p.m.
