Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education (CTE) welcomed Advisory Board members, businesses, community partners and dignitaries for the annual Partnership Breakfast on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, prepared by our Culinary students.
After Chief Operating Officer Deborah Mc Bride Heppes’ welcoming remarks, Orange County Executive, Steve Neuhaus shared the current and projected economic growth throughout the county, voicing the importance and value of CTE.
Among those recognized were three exceptional students, Jacob Cherisien (Minisink Valley CSD), Jada Falu (Pine Bush CSD) and Lianna Vargas (Chester UFSD) for their roles as student Advisory Board members. Their exemplary leadership skills are a source of inspiration and motivation for all.
The event highlighted the contributions of Cathy Parlapiano, co-owner of Here’s Help Staffing and Recruiting, who received Advisory Board Member of the Year as well as Suzi Cleaver of Banbury Cross Farm who received Business Partner of the Year.
