National Technical Honor Society 2020 Induction Ceremony
  • Career & Technical Education

The Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Center inducted 146 members into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) in a virtual ceremony. The OU BOCES chapter of the National Technical Honor Society distinguishes, honors, and encourages students who excel at their career and technical education studies and who possess admirable character, attitude, and a strong intellect.

The students inducted have maintained a 95% average or better in their CTE classes, have at least a 95% attendance rate, and are involved in school and/or community service. In addition, students can have no more than six unexcused absences through the third quarter.

The advisors for the OU BOCES Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society are Kevin Trass and Patricia Babcock.

The new inductees joined 51 current National Technical Honor Society members at the ceremony that recognized their high academic achievement and commitment and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Congratulations to our 2020 NTHS members!
