Orange-Ulster BOCES Staff Member Honored by Mid-Hudson School Study Council

Forrest Addor, Director of Information & Technology at Orange-Ulster BOCES, was honored recently with an Award for Excellence

Forrest Addor, Director of Information & Technology at Orange-Ulster BOCES, was honored recently with an Award for Excellence in Administration at the Mid-Hudson School Study Council's annual Awards for Excellence ceremony.

Forrest started at OU BOCES as Director of Technology in 2016. His leadership provides technical support to 17 component districts in our BOCES and eight districts in Sullivan County. He has continuously taken on additional responsibilities as our organization grows. Forrest is responsible for all Technology and Data Services as well as overseeing our Communications, Printing and Records Management services.

“Forrest is an integral member of the BOCES Leadership Team,” said OU BOCES Chief Operating Officer Deborah McBride Heppes.  “Forrest has a 24/7 commitment to OU BOCES and all of the school districts that he serves. He is available days and evenings to troubleshoot issues and to make sure that all student programming is accessible.” 

OU BOCES Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Management Services Mark P. Coleman praised Forrest for his exceptional leadership, patience and commitment to the needs of others.

“Forrest takes a proactive approach to address these needs, always going above and beyond to ensure that technology solutions are tailored to meet the unique requirements of each district,” Mr. Coleman said. “He has earned the trust and admiration of those he serves, making him an invaluable asset to our educational community.”
