2022 Special Olympics
The 2022 Orange County Special Olympics were held at Valley Central High School. Players from all over Orange County participated in basketball and soccer activities. OU BOCES had eight students, from three different programs participate: Eric B. (LEP), Francesca B.(LEP) , Unique E.(RCC), Iyana G.(RCC), Alia M.(RCC), Caiden M.(MH), Lawrence M.(RCC), and Eddie P.(RCC).
Students were challenged with three basketball skills: passing, shooting, and dribbling skills and three soccer skills: goal shot, dribbling skills and kicking multiple goals. Players had so much fun participating in all these great activities.
A special thank you to Valley Central school district and all coaches, volunteers and families who made this day possible. We hope to see you all at Middletown School District next year.
