Special Olympics

We are proud to recognize the OUB student-athletes who participated in the 2026 Hudson Valley Special Olympics  at West Point Military Academy and Goshen High School.

IOUB students competed alongside teams from across the Hudson Valley, showcasing their skills in a variety of track and field events, including javelin and wheelchair obstacle courses. Our athletes achieved outstanding success, earning numerous medals and ribbons. Liam Jordan, representing the Minisink satellite program, competed in running events and had the honor of participating in the West Point torch-lighting ceremony.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated coaches and volunteers whose hard work made this event possible, as well as to the families whose continued support helped create such a meaningful and memorable experience for our students.

Special Olympics New York serves more than 3,600 athletes in the Hudson Valley region providing year-round sports training and competition.
